Acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Jason Ji—finalist (Top 4) at the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championships, a Berklee College of Music alumnus, and a Godin Guitars–endorsed artist—returns to Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall alongside Charles Berthoud, a fingerstyle bassist celebrated for his innovative tapping techniques, and Bernth, an Austrian electric guitar virtuoso, who together boast over 3 million subscribers on YouTube, as well as Lucas Richard Tchen, a crossover classical guitar expert. Accompanied by a string quartet, they present a program that merges fingerstyle, classical, rock, and folk influences, showcasing four distinct guitar styles and unveiling bold new possibilities for this dynamic and evolving genre.
